If your child has an August/September birthday and is going to be in the grade HIGHER than their age puts them, they can "play up" to be with their classmates. See "Playing Up" Instructions on the Register Page.
Children should only be "playing down" with documented Medical or Special Needs instances. A player's size or ability should not be a consideration for playing down.
